It is well acknowledged that things are getting out of hand technology wise, but many suspect it will take a really eye-catching round figure—a prominent 8000-yard golf course—for us to finally say ‘No more!’ Amazingly, the mark had already been hit nearly forty years ago in Massachusetts, and an even longer course exists in China—the Jade Dragon Snow Golf Club—an 8400-yard Nelson and Haworth monster several thousand yards above sea-level and set against a snow-capped backdrop.
